Themaclad 7 0 4 -3 3 1
St Charles 5 0 3 -3 3 1

Decent scoring week for most, courtesy of a nice win for the Baggies on the Gamball.  BBB tops the table again with 20 points and seems to be heading for the title.  He scored on 6 games that included the Gamball and a max on the Bonus.  Close behind is Twerton on 19 points, he got a weeks high 2 CSs as well as picking up points on all his balls.  AAA is in third with 16 points, scoring on 6 games like BBB.

In joint 4th are three players, Bomber, Lord Snooty and Derby, all on 13 points.  Bomber was desperate for Ward-Prowse to score that penalty but it wasn't to be and that cost him 5 extra points on the Gamball. Lord Snooty had an identical record to Bomber and Derby scored on an impressive 6 games but missed on the Bonus to keep his score down.

Amelia is 7th on 10 points closely followed by Sanjay on 9 points.  After a few good weeks Themaclad dropped this week to 9th position and St Charles drops to the bottom with a poor week only scoring on 3 games and missing on the Gamball, he obviously used all his faith up last week!!!

BBB - 293
Sanjay - 246
St Charles - 238
Bomber - 228
AAA - 218
Lord Snooty - 214
Derby - 198
Amelia - 193
Themaclad - 177
Twerton - 154

No positional changes this week but BBB has really put himself in a strong position at the top.  Bomber is slowly reeling in both Sanjay and SCO, if he keep this up it will be close for runner up.  The rest are essentially the same, Twerton's good week gives him a little hope but he will need to follow up in the coming weeks.

Cheers
SCO

Joker          11pts 1CS 5CR -3GB 3BB 1SB

Somerset     8pts 0CS 3CR 0GB 3BB 1SB
DD              7pts 0CS 4CR -3GB 3BB 1SB

Not a great deal between everyone this week which will ensure very little change in the promotion race. Ball play was good, with only 1 player missing out on the bonus and 1 the scoreball, though there were again some grateful for avoiding the gamball. Correct scores were as rare as a decent VAR decision though 2 of the 3 were played on the bonus to give a much needed boost to certain players' scores.

Stairs noses just ahead of the pack after an impressive 7 correct predictions though he failed to convert any into correct scores and also missed out on the extra gamball points. BaggieOne reacted to losing his grip on the overall 2nd place with an improved performance and sitsjust a couple of points behind. In contrast to Stairs, B1 only got 3 predictions right but it helps when one of them is the gamball and another a spot on bonus. Zinman got what might be his first correct bonus score this decade to take 3rd place from an otherwise unspectacular week. He was also unique in missing out on the scoreball, selecting this week's only nil nil draw.

Joker and Lady Jane are tied together (only metaphorically, I assume) on 11 points, Joker the 3rd player with a correct score and Lady J continuing her recent improved form with 6 correct predictions. Another 2 point gap to Silver, the second player confident enough to bet on an Albion victory but the only one to miss out on his bonus. Minizin and Somerset had a poor week, both only getting 3 results right but saved by correct bonuses and scoreballs, and avoiding the gamball. DD owes his bottom position to a loss on the gamball - fancy not having faith in Albion's ability to keep us all with a tiny glimmer of hope!

Minizin 262
BaggieOne 237
Silver 237
Zinman 234
Stairs 231
Somerset 215
Joker 213
DD 204
Lady Jane 191

Very little change in the overall standings. Minizin's lead remains pretty much intact and it will need someone to have an excellent couple of weeks to catch him. The battle for 2nd place is getting very tight, BaggieOne and Silver level going in to the final few weeks and just 6 points separating 2nd from 5th. Lady Jane continues to close the gap at the bottom with DD looking nervously over his shoulder.

Just so everyone is aware the final week for this seasons Prediction League will be Week 32 (May 23rd). The following week will see the Playoff between 3rd bottom in the PL and 3rd in the Championship to complete the promotion and relegation.

The Cup semis are weeks 28 and 30, and the final will coincide with the final league week, so Week 32.
