Saw that result and immediately thought this has to be the final nail in his coffin!! They are not going to catch Rangers but they should be safe in 2nd spot, surely its better to bring someone in now and let them evaluate what is needed in the close season.

Even a short-term contract would prob suit him LS! Not sure Frank Lampard would wanna have a long-term gig so far away from London although he may view it differently after seeing how "Mr Cool", Brendan Rodgers, revitalised his career by breaking all footie records up here - too easy for a vg manager like him in a footie league that is of a much lower standard compared with most other Euro leagues.

The only possible reason for him still being in post is that the new manager is still at another club or unable to take the reins yet. The signs are there is going to be a complete overhaul coming up with Dermots son coming in and lawwell moving on.

Lennon's PM interview was different in the fact that he looks like he has finally "thrown in the towel" and players are either not playing for him or they are "shot" of all confidence in a footie season that has been absolutely surreal/unusual - never witnessed in the history of the modern game and not unique to Scot footie when one listens to comments/anecdotes from players throughout Euro footie, some affected more than others.

Very lucky to have no Celtic fans watching these kinda games but no hiding place to go to TBH esp with Lawwell's announcement that he is leaving the club at the end of the season. I think Celtic have no choice but to move on Lennon now, something they should've done ages ago - the pressure from even the moderate faction of Hoops' fans will now be so intense - no choice in order to "show face"!!
