Did you know that Whitemead House aka Nelson Mandela House in Only Fools and Horses is behind Ashton Gate?

Our boys got a rest this weekend. Having played Millwall on Wednesday, we should have been playing The Robins on Saturday. However, they were clever dickie birds and got to the 4th round of the FA Cup. Ironically they played Millwall in Saturday's 4th round match. Hence, our tie was rearranged for Tuesday. Incidentally they wiped the floor with Millwall at The Den and go through to the 5th round.

The robin is the nation's favourite bird. Did you know the robin is all about sex and violence? We were told that by an RSPB guide.

Carlos speaks

Explaining how Duane Holmes will fit in when available. Alex Pritchard and Danny Ward out. The team need to show their character. There was no rest for the team regardless of the free Saturday. Penalties are practised at the end of every session.

Bristol City Manager Dean Holden was formally assistant to the 42 carat plonker.

Note that Millwall was a very hard place to go to.  Laugh

And this is when he was doing a "Basil Fawlty don't mention the war" tribute act.

Played for both

Richard Keogh (currently in our squad), Jamie McCombe, Jon Stead, Benik Afobe, Marcus Stewart, and Jack Hunt.

I always loved the boom boom chant around the stadium for Jamie McCombe.

Played for both part 2

Nahki Wells, Jamie Paterson, and Kasey Palmer; all currently in the Bristol City squad.

Did you know that Bristol is the world's biggest supplier of hot air balloons? Well they are thanks to Cameron Balloons that are located there.
Here's a sample of their balloons:

Ever been in one?
Who, in your opinion, is the biggest provider of hot air?  Big Grin

Basil Brush did boom boom best of all but heed his advice about inflatables!

Did you know that Fry's of Bristol produced the first chocolate easter egg in 1873? Personally I thank them for Fry's Chocolate Cream.

Nice one, Chaffers. Thumb up

I never knew that about Nelson Mandela House. And we walked right past it when we went there. It was dark and pissing it down though. Doh

What's got into you AC? Sex and violence, bristols, balloons? Thankfully you didn't mention the lovely balconies on Mandela House. Next you'll be telling us that Bristol is the leading manufacturer of bazookas! Angel

All is forgiven, though, for the mention of Fry's Peppermint Cream. Deeeeeelish. Big Grin

No Ward or Pritchard again through injury...not that it makes any difference when they are fit

Apparently the EFL are treating this one as if it went ahead on Saturday and charging us £10 to watch on iFollow.

"If I tell you I found him trip trapping across the Clifton Suspension Bridge - would you promise not to troll me?" asked the goat, on WhatsAppKid.

I'm absolutely gob-smacked that Danny Ward has gone one whole game before getting injured again. I predicted he wouldn't get passed the warm-up, but things are looking up. One whole game? Woop-di-bleeding-do. When's he due back this time? Half-term? Easter? Spring Bank?
