Just saw warbs interview......I've come to the conclusion he is just marking time or he is totally delusional. The game was not "nip and tuck" with chances at both ends. It was totally,completely one sided and his side were incredibly fortunate not to be on the end of another doing.
We've all seen managers try to pull the wool over the fans eyes like this in the past. He is playing a very dangerous game.

We see managers do it every week!!! Its all about self preservation and keeping some confidence in the team, but at times you wonder what game they were watching!!

He could just as easily took the pressure off himself yesterday and his players by being a bit more honest and realistic about where they are. That would have been the smart move,now he has painted himself into a corner. I think he's done for and wants away.

I don't think he could be seen to say that the Neanderthals wouldn't stand for that but he could just say look we gave it what we had and weren't good enough at this time
