Following both sides defeats this weekend, a look to get back to winning ways is high on the agenda for both teams. With the terriers looking to try and reclaim the hallowed top spot from the canaries of Norwich. Rotherham meanwhile sit 23rd in the league with a win undoubtaby resulting in them leaving the relegation places. however we are not yet in october (just) and as such it is not quite paramount for either sides with so many games to play, although it is always nice to not have that to think about later in the season.

Rotherham are in pretty poor form, losing on saturday 2-1 at home to cardiff thanks to two Rickie Lambert goals, this also coming after the millers had taken the lead through Chelsea loanee Izzy Brown. In recent weeks, the south yorkshire side have also lost 4-2 away at fellow early season strugglers Blackburn rovers, whilst also drawing at home to nottingham forest and bristol city the weeks before that. Their one and only win this season came at home to Brentford thanks to a 1-0 win. the millers have been prone to conceeding a fair few goals this season, 5 against morecambe, 4 against barnsley and blackburn, 3 against villa and brighton, whilst forest, wolves, bristol and cardiff have all put two past Lee Camp.

Goals meanwhile appear to be coming largely from the chicken wing of Nando Ward (4), with Izzy brown and Jon Taylor both notching two so far this season.

At the other end of the table, huddersfield continue to slip under the radar with channel 5, the bbc and part of Sky all seeming oblivious to towns good start, with martin keown suggesting the other week that Andy Hughes was in charge of town, whilst Adam Virgo and Chris Illuemo both believe that town will struggle, however, the failed scottish striker revised his claim an all mighty 90 mins into the season. As for sky, hollowhead suggested that town would be down there, but he too now raves over town, until we hit a bad patch, where he will change his mind again. the only bit of credit town seem to get is from sky sports news who seem to like talking to wagner, whilst today tony cottee and tony cascarino both claimed that huddersfield successful start is good for the championship with the amount of money being spent and how the three relegated sides were heavily tipped to be running away with the league.

on the playing aspect, huddersfield lost their second away game in a row, mainly thanks to a runaway circus clown and a baffoon. take your pick who is who. however, one will undoubtably lose his tag provided he learns from his display and bounces back in the best of ways. again take your pick. Town played 70mins with 10 men and for the large part of the second half, seemed like there was a high possibility of getting a goal back, however, there was a few fluffed chances and one would hope that tuesday will see a ruthless performance in front. at a venue where town are yet to lose i may add!

As for team news, rotherham manager Alan Stubbs has suggested he will make a couple of changes to the side, but has also suggested that some of the players need to stick their chests out and be proud when they play. Whilst also losing that fear when they step onto the pitch.

As for town, they will definately need to make three changes, with Lowe, Hudson and Van La Parra all being suspended and as normal it isnt easy to guess what wagner will do alongside those changes, but for me Dennis-Holmes will come in at left back, Hefele will step in at centre half, with Scannell coming in on the right wing, with Kachunga moving over to the left. the only other change would to possibly bring payne in for palmer, but with palmer only playing 30mins on saturday there may be no real reason to do so. on the bench we may see the return of ivan paurevic after he featured and performed well for the under 23's on sunday whilst stankovic may also come onto the bench. one other change that will be enforced will be hogg or smith taking over the captains armband with the absence of hudson. smith took the role against shrewsbury when neither hogg or hudson featured, but for me I would put hogg as captain, despite the long list of potential candidates.

both sides have had a fair few players that have played for both, with rotherhams current top scorer danny ward being one of the notable ones, along with former manager Neil Warnock who managed to pull rotherham to safety by the skin of their teeth. he was assisted by former town people ronnie jepson and kevin blackwell

another winger who on his day could destroy teams in adam hammill also played for both, with his spell at rotherham coming via loan from huddersfield

Staying with widemen who are prone to causing some form of trouble for their side leads us to lionel ainsworth. he arrived at town alongside anthony pilkington, and high hopes were held for both. with only one of them really ever achieving anything. the other now plays up in scotland...

other players include the likes of delroy 'fixit' facey, jack 'helmet' hunt, mark hudson (the midfield one) and alan lee amongst others.

He also says Dennis-Holmes(TDH for short) will play instead of Löwe.

Big test for Town tomorrow to bounce straight back and one I think we'll manage. Surely now VLP is out then Scanz gets in...surely?

As for Stankavić and Pauravić(it was much easier when we signed players called Smith) I expect them both to make the bench, Wagner watched the U23s from up by the camera on top of the scaffold yesterday and as soon as they were subbed off he left his position from high up. I read that as he's seen enough and was happy

A good read that 'un jjamez Thumb up

They've scored 10 goals, we've scored 11 - however their keeper has fished the ball out of the net a whopping 27 times so far in 10 League and Cup games - hopefully he'll be doing it a few more times on Tuesday. Rotherham have scored first quite a few times this season, but only managed to hang on for all 3 points against Brentford of all teams.

Scoring boots on for this one please chaps - a good chance to improve our goal difference if ever I saw one. Other than the obvious changes at the back I haven't a Scooby how Wagner will line us up for this one.

you would expect an unchanged side with direct subs for the players suspended

Holmes-Dennis, Hefele and Scannell for Lowe, Hudson, Van la-Parra

but what about a 4-3-3

with Payne instead of scannell

payne and mooy playing either side of Hogg with a front 3 of Kachunga, Wells and Palmer

I'm not sure mnt. I get the feeling that the 4-3-3 or 4-1-2-3 would result in town either being too narrow.
, yes we are now but we have that option of width, playing 4-3-3 would effectively leave the full backs as the only options. If we went wider i feel that nahki would essentially become isolated especially when we try the forward press as there would be as much support from the number 10 role, which i think in our system is the important role.

I also dont think payne is ready or disciplined enough to play a deeper central role or palmer for that matter. Think both are better being further up the pitch and dropping back than deeper and pushing forward.

Sounds like we were well on top first half - you could have put brass on Ward scoring - seems to be continuing second half but missing the goals we need. Take 2-1 at half time but need more second half.

Brentford stuffing Reading - why am I not surprised?

We are top of the league (again) - could have done with a couple of more goals though but I'll take it - 2.2 points per game is well over average for a you know what spot. Way too early for the p word.
