I was saying last night that kid from Chelsea (Abrahams) has scored 9 in 9 and had one chalked off.
Why can't we ever loan these kids? Oh right we borrowed a kid from Chelsea whose dad was a Wednesdayite. And we didn't play him so Chelsea recalled him.

You can say that about any team tbh.
Before this season he had only ever played for Chelsea twice, so there wasn't any form to go on.
Remember when we signed Kenwyn Jones, we were all going who. 7 goals in 7 games later he'd almost become a legend. I'm sure the Bristol fans were probably going who when they signed him. That's loans for you, sometimes you can strike gold which Bristol seem to have.

True Kev, But he was tipped as a Hot prospect. This loan was his acid test I think if his season carries on like this can you imagine the price tag? From almost nothing to priceless!
The top clubs academy boast dozens of players like Abraham, some make the step up some don't. I often wonder why Carlos doesn't look at some of these as a possibility, instead we've seemingly struggled to acquire our targets.
We're in a position now where we can pay all of the loans wages, even strike a deal to make the transfer permanent should we uncover a gem.

If he does keep banging the goals in, say 20, I wonder if some team might put a bid in for him in January??

That's a very good possibility actually. With prolific goal scorers coming at a premium rate Chelsea could easily slap an 8M tag on him, they won't care it's not as if they're short of talent. And the 8M would pay the first teams wages for a week
