Second home game in 3 days and another one where we need to get 3 ponts from to help erase the dodgy run we have seen from us so far.  Bristol City have high aspirations, they are revamping Ashton Gate, have a wealthy and ambitious owner and are splashing some cash in the transfer market.  They have struggled to get quality players in with a few players truning down moves to them and maybe their inability to sign who they want may just be the thing that holds them back.  Either way they have a decent squad and will be well away from any relegation battle in my opinion, so we cannot take this game lightly!!

This will only be our 55th match against them having a good record of W25, D13, L16!!  Our ho,me record is very good overall against them but not so good recently where we have only won one of our last 6 home games against them.  But that win came in the first game of last season with our "new" team so lets hope that particular tide has already turned!! Here is the video of that win:

THE LAST MATCH

A win is a win and while it wasn't as convincing as we would have liked it was deserved!!  It was good to see Forestieri and Fletcher score because we need them to start burying the chances we have been creating.  Disappointing to see Lees in particular have a bit of a mare, but those games have been few and far between so lets hope it was a one-off!!  The points were secured and that is what was important!!

WHO'S IN AND WHO'S OUT

Selection issues come with the territory for the modern day manager.  The goal was to essentially have 2 players for each position and we are more or less now in that position.  Up to CC now to find the best starting 11 and rotate when needed from there.  Jones is back for this one and Loovens is pretty much fit as well, so will either of them get back in the team??  Fletcher and Hooper seemed to play well together, will he play them both up top with maybe FF out wide or just behind them?  Will Abdi keep his place?  I think he should.  Will we see any of the new guys make a start - I think there is definitely a place for Reach, in place of who though?  Wallace maybe??  Here is my team:

Westwood

Palmer  Lees  Hutchinson  Pudil

Lee  Abdi  Bannan  Reach

Forestieri

Fletcher

What team would you like to see??

Nice one, SCO!

You sneaky snake, Maddix Laugh

Tougher fixture than we'd like it to be, we're at home though so I expect a solid performance. This could put us 10th or thereabouts.

2-1 Fletcher
