I think Peter Capaldi is pretty good as the Doctor he also channels a bit of Malcolm Tucker in parts of the episodes. I think Moffat is writing really crap storylines and scripts, he does it with Sherlock as well. Other people have commented on the storylines and scripts and how rushed they are. I think some of the episodes should be 2 or even 3 parters.

I expected Peter Capaldi to be the eccentric type like Tom Baker. I have been disappointed. He always has the unfortunate look of someone seriously I'll, too. However, I will continue to watch and hope I get accustomed to him.

He's trying to be more scary. Most of the roles he's played have been serious e.g Malcolm Tucker, the Cardinal out of the musketeers.

Doctor Tea, then? Curious.
I thought the first one was pretty rushed, but the latter ones have been better. They keep trying to build up Jenna's part, but either they're holding her back so that the relationship of trust between the two characters builds slowly, or the relationship with her acting isn't that great.
