St Mirren v Hibs - Sat 20 August, KO 3.00pm

More Championship business coming up for Hibs at the weekend and I'm hoping the guys make 'short work' of the Buddies on their own patch and add another 3 pts to their tally for this season. I think our new goalie, 'Rocky' Marciano, will likely make his debut and I can't see many changes to the Hibs team apart from the goalie and poss McGeouch given a start in midfield.

Looks like fontaine is out of this one,so imagine we will revert to a 4-4-2 or throw in foster.

Also Marciano still waiting on clearance so laidlaw likely to play.

An away draw would be a good result but I'm looking for an extension to our winning run. No good reason why we can't do it.

A comfortable 2-0 win in the end. Really should have been more.

New boys got a run out in the last quarter.

Another brace of goals for Jason and I fear there will be another decent bid coming in before the transfer window closes at the end of August. Yep, this result could well have been a 0-5 or 0-6 on another day v a very poor St Mirren side. Anyway, job done and another 3 pts 'in the bag'! Thumb up

Another commanding performance from hibs two goals in 10 mins put the game to bed could have had a lot more but I feel some team will come a cropper in the near future.

Most important things is HFC are making loads of chances the two new guys also had chances to score when they came on. Another healthy support travelled along the M8 to support HFC the bandwagon rolls along nicely 9points out of 9 and a home game next week hopefully another big crowd to cheer the guys on.

Think holt needs a wee rest already, his work rate is incredible. Graham might just enable that to happen a bit more. We are playing some nice stuff for sure.

St mirren are woeful and managed by an absolute arsehole. They will struggle this season.
