Maybe so, OR just that DC wont be held to ransom by a player/Agent ..AND if he wants to leave then I don't think it will be Derby & 7 million ... maybe Newcastle and 12 million, every player has his price, especially after we signed Abdi !!!

It certainly leads to speculation. Interest in a player can cause agents to demand improved contracts. the player himself made a statement this week about wanting to finish his career at S6 but many footballers say this. He does however, have good friends in Adbi & Pudil.
Would just seem strange and poor business to disrupt the squad in such a manner. All for money, which we do not need.

BUT , if he's had his head turned by Derby/Newcastle ..and I CANNOT for 1 minute believe any of our players would go to Derby (much less our chairman sell to a rival), so I suspect Necastle have made an approach through FF agent, then get 12/15 Million and move on , we still have a GREAT team to focus on , and don't need disruptive influences , take the cash, improve the team and forget about it !!

Its very worrying isnt it ? as i dont think there is anyone as good as him around even in the premiership !! thats the worrying thing !!! Rhodes isnt half the player and that would be our obvious go for signing !! but this has happened before at wednesday i can remember when chapman left and when we sold varadi and banno i thought it was the end of the world !!
Rhodes is on the bench today aswell in a home match ? so he would be the target im sure !!

TBH, from what I have read allover the t'interweb it seems a done deal !!!!!!, BUT you can't speculate until its official , but is 1 player bigger than the Owls, I honestly believe not , and if it IS true I'm sure CC and DC will have a plan in place !!

He hasn't travelled today so he's either injured,which we haven't headr about or it's something more like he is going.
