Not a bad performance considering once again e made loads of changes throughout the match. Still not happy about all the fannying about at the back and up front we still lack that bite. Not much goal threat. But then again, this was a top premier league geam we were playing. A team who had their reserve goalkeeper up front for most of the second half. Rolleyes
I think we will tear some Championship teams to threads this season. We have some proper quality now. We need a goalscorer though.

I thought Mooy was excellent first half......he looks like a proper baller.
And I thought Scannell was our best player in the 2nd half. Showed some glimpses of his threat going forward.
All in all a fairly toothless display. Loads of possession but not that real dangerous threat.

It's a pre season game and one I'm pretty glad I didn't waste £15 on but....

Liverpool goal disallowed for a foul on the keeper...that never was after some shocking defending
More shocking defending in the lead up to the penalty which I thought was a sending off but I'm told the rules have now changed depending on whethe you are inside or outside the box.
A keeper up front for Liverpool, is he available for loan he looked alright.
Pass,Pass,Pass,Pass,Pass,Pass...get to the final third...same old story.

Still plenty of work to do before the season begins and we were missing to ends of the spine(Ward in goals and Wells up front)
Mooy looked OK, Billing looked OK. The rest looked pretty average on that performance.

Still at least it'll keep expectation levels down

Danny Ward and Joe Murphy are flying out to Austria to join the rest of the squad. Hopefully Ward will get some game time.

Glad you told us that Wakey. Sky say we kick off at 11am. Didn't think that was right.

0-0 so far in the Werder Bremen match as far as I can tell. Anybody watching it?

Full time 0-0.

We barely had a shot or looked threatening in their box from the stream I watched 80% of . We do look solid at the back and Mooy looks quality on the ball and reading the game. Wells absence of real concern as we are creating nowt and nothing coming from the flanks in terms of service/ set up.

Did that coach run to Austria offering a weeks jollidays, couple of town flags, but after Portugal I'm still physically damaged as far as pre seasons go, till the next one !

I know one of the lads who had a flag there, he made his own way to Austria.

Good to see a load of Dresden fans going down to watch Hefele as well
