i cant remember a pre season as bad as this ever as far as the transfers are ???? i mean in a way its better to get one Fletcher than a balsa boy teale and god knows what my nightmares throw at me ? but to say we are rich and having only signed one player is xxxx mental ?????

i dont think weve been conned i think chansiri has been let down and he still doesnt have the proper back up ? still a lot of clingons at Hillsborough you know !! im hoping im right anyway ? and youve not been conned maddix ffs you go about as much as charlie ???

I don't for one minute think anyone has been conned. I think FFP is looming in our near future if we keep the current rate of spending and DC knows this and has adjusted the budget. The ST sales have been very good nearly 20k sold but the commercial side is still lacking and way behind what other clubs generate from it, MS has been saying this for ages and it's still a problem. However rich he and his family may be makes sod all difference, if we flout the rules we will get punished just like a number of other clubs have been.

Prior to DC taking over its well known we were losing 5m a year with Balsa Boy and Teale in the side, so just standing still on revenue with the current side and contracts means we are losing a ton more now. The raised prices will have recouped some of this, as will the Chansiri sponsorship and some of the other things we have done, but as a club we can only lose 13m a year (39m over 3 years) and we must be close or over that for the past year. As others have said we are essentially the same team that got to 6th place but had a poor start due to players such as Bannan and FF coming in late, so adding Fletcher does make the first 11 stronger, time will tell whether that is enough to push us up a few places.

As I said earlier, we've released a few players, including a CB and a loan CB back to their parent club. Hunt & Pudil ( if he ever signs, will be our marquee signing at this rate Doh

) Do not have quality cover for their positions. The same for midfield.

If Bannan & Hutch, god forbid, are ruled out with 2 month injuries respectively, what impact will that have on our season, there isn't enough quality to step in to these positions.

I firmly believe last seasons squad was too thin, I'm even more of that belief currently. The starting XI looks good, but who is the impact sub? Who is almost like for like in quality should be take some injuries? Who steps in when Fessis leg gets broken and the ref red cards him at the same time?

Staying within the parameters of FFP is a must, but I also find it hard to believe that the clubs around us can continue spending and signing players at the rate they are, and not be worse off than we are?

Would be happy with Abdi signing, but it still isn't enough

If we are trying to stay within a salary budget so as not to lose too much dosh, why have we held on to Semedo (who's now being tipped as our 'new' CB) and Nuhiu? Huh

I won't say much about Nuhiu so as not to get a telling off from maddix Doh

, but we don't need him. Semedo? Nice guy. But he's past it now. Sad
