A great couple of days all round with Yorkshire thrashing Northants in the T20 last night and Root scoring 254 and Bairstow 58 for England. Top stuff.

And smashed over 300 in the One Day Cup to win by nearly 200 runs. Could be a nice visit to Lord's on the cards if this keeps up.

We look like the form team in the shorter formats at the moment. Cue massive let down. You can tell I'm a Wednesday fan, can't you?!

Good win against Warwickshire in the CC Thumb up puts us 3rd for now but Middlesex will be lucky to get even a draw in their game. That should leave us with a game in hand where a draw with good bonus points would put us back in our rightful position Cool

Another good knock by Johnny B for England and another half century for Root means we shouldn't lose. Not sure we'll be able to force a win on an increasingly flat looking pitch, unless Rashid can get into their batsmen. Oh wait a minute, he's playing for Yorkshire isn't he, not England! Might regret that decision later today.

Middlesex were lucky Angry 14 points behind so the game in hand is a must win.

It's looking likely that it will be decided at Lords in our last fixture on September 20th Confused

At least its at their gaff because it will be snow stopped play at Headingley at that time of year Laugh
