Ins & Outs 2016

I suspect we may have been conned and something fishy, pardon the pun, is going on  Sad

I hope I'm wrong but where is all this "investment" going on the back of huge price increases  Huh

In the last year we have added FF, Bannan, Hooper & Fletcher. I would say that makes us better off. It was the first seven matches that cost us last season & we will do better this season.

http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/368578...name=sport im not sure if this a good thing or a bad one 8m well spent on securing there return or 8m in the bin ? at this very moment it would have been welcome by me even if wed spent 15million because we dont have a cb going into August and september ? we ll know hutch wont make it through 25 minutes of the Villa game !!

Steve Bruce has left Hull, just 3 weeks before the season starts.

I thought this was the year when we were supposed to be going for promotion? DC's 2 year plan? Disappointing prognosis from CC: http://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/football/...-1-8027382

Ive a feeling we are going to lose Westwood! And as for us ??? Well it doesn't look good does it ? Either dc is blowing smoke up arses or he needs to get the chopper out and get rid of the backroom staff even the bog bird !! Because its laughable realy

We are better off player wise than last year but for me we had a big element of surprise which is now gone.... We have added quality players but we were 6th best by a country mile last year and now teams will know what we are about...... For me we need more than 4/5 players as our squad is thin on the ground but at the minute 4/5 players will do.
If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, you need a team....

Trying to keep the faith, still time. Though it's typical Wednesday to leave it late and have a squad that didn't gel during pre-season.

However, what seems like a complete lack of foresight in key areas, such as player recruitment does not bode well. We're currently being left behind by our peers.

These were the things some Boro fans were saying a year ago but they underestimated how much a team (& individuals) improves with continuity in the season following one where they moved forward. Continually bringing in four or five players each season kills that continuity.

We don't need much to step up from Playoffs to automatic promotion. Natural improvement plus Fletcher might be enough.
