Im also sure Dave Allen and co arent that stupid that they would go into this with their moral compass pointing in the wrong direction knowing the uproar it would cause .
The key to this decision in my opinion is the fact that his conviction was quashed and im sure they will have put in place contingency plans if he is found guilty at the re trial .
I dont care what sort of bloke Ched Evans is Im only interested in the footballer and im sure if he has broken the law our justice system will punish him accordingly.

No one should be vilified for staying away or indeed for continuing to go. It is down to personal choice and what you feel comfortable with. The man is tainted even though he is innocent in the eyes of the law. Any ability he has must be outweighed by the ill feeling it has caused, surely. No club would get an easy ride for signing him,.whatever the official position in law is. That is human nature for you. You would have been better staying clear of him. Even innocent, no one was forced to sign him. Is it really worth all this?

If he is found innocent then he should be allowed to continue his line of work in my opinion. He will of course always be tainted but the club has bought a player who potentially could be the best footbalker ever to play for the club.He will need to be .

If only Ched had crystal balls.
Organisations withdrawing sponsorship? Wouldn't it be interesting to find their own history on employing people with a criminal record? They simply don't want to be associated with a club playing that kind of man .......... because they are afraid of the effect on their precious brand. Do you think they really give a hoot for women's rights, don't operate a glass ceiling, and don't behave appallingly at every office party? OOOH look their managing director is a man, blow me down with a ******* feather.
The last thing I wanted was for us to sign Ched Evans, but we have. Campaign by all means, that might make a difference, if not this time perhaps another, but staying away will only work as a mass-campaign. Otherwise it is just self-indulgence. As for firms seeking the tax-breaks of sponsorship squirming towards the moral high-ground to wrap their brand in by withdrawing ..... forgive me for wondering how shiny-bright they are themselves.
At some point Ched Evans has to be able to return to his life like any other criminal, but at the moment he is not even a criminal! Our sponsor has withdrawn because we employ an innocent man they don't like. Let's hope we don't sign Ant and Dec.

They sponsored the Main stand.
They sell kitchens/bedroom/bathrooms and they install it for you.
