It should have come down even if they made the final!!! I would like to see us get him but not at that price when he has only one year on his contract!!

It has emerged from an exclusive HITC Sport report that Sheffield Wednesday have been linked with a shock move for newly promoted Middlesbrough’s Jordan Rhodes.

It has become apparent that Dejphon Chansiri and Carlos Carvalhal are looking to build on last season and show a statement of intent in this summer’s transfer window.

As Sheffield Wednesday look to bring in another striker this summer, the arrival of Jordan Rhodes would elevate Sheffield Wednesday’s chances of promotion significantly as Jordan Rhodes has shown on a consistent basis his goalscoring ability at the Championship level.

The links between Jordan Rhodes and Sheffield Wednesday with Rhodes’ father being the goalkeeping coach at the South Yorkshire club could be a promising sign.

Reports are suggesting that Middlesbrough has been offered to a number of Championship clubs including Sheffield Wednesday, who in the past have been linked with a move for the Scottish international.

It is most likely that Jordan Rhodes will stay at Middlesbrough and see how he fares in the Premier League first but if there is the slightest chance that Rhodes is available, Sheffield Wednesday should show no hesitation in signing such a proven goalscorer.

Saw this on the tinterweb, get the xxxx in for him.
Seen we've got the Dingles and Rovrum in the same week.
Nothing changes,again.

Not great opening fixtures. Too many high profile games against promoted & relegated sides but think we are good enough to overcome & get promoted anyway.

Not too fussed with Villa & Norwich, both teams are used to losing. Burton is probably the tricky one a team more used to winning.

It looks a bit rough that first month of fixtures. That will be a good acid test for us, Villa shouldn't have a gelled squad either so you wouldn't be wrong to put a quid on winning it.
I'd be more concerned about Burton than Villa, now there's a slippery stepping stone. They won't make ridiculous amount of signings, and their squad is gelled and on a high.

Burton will be weak & should be easily beaten except away in the first month when they will be a problem.

Relegated sides tend to win at home for the first few matches so Norwich away is a bad match for us.

I agree with the notion they 'Should' be easily beaten. Despite the nice football we play these days we rarely beat anyone easily, do we?

I won't argue with the stats. I'm finding it hard to see points at Carrow Rd.

I wonder if CC is planning on scooping up a bunch of Portuguese starlets whilst we're over there? Seems even before CC took the helm we spent a lot of pre-seasons in Portugal.
Still quiet regarding whom is exiting
