Larry, dinnae want tae fall out wi' ye over this, hibs fans were on the pitch tae celebrate, why did rangers fans go on the pitch, one reason and one reason only tae confront the hibs fans. Is there any proof that any players or staff were assaulted. Fuckin bad losers as far as I'm concerned. And just tae make it clear, IF any hibs fans are proven to have assaulted anybody then the full force of the law should be brought tae bear. The only picture I have seen in the press involving violence was a Rangers fan taking a swing at somebody

Unfortunately there is evidence of their players being assaulted. ( video of Wes Foderingham being assaulted) Should be possible to identify those involved and ban them. If Rangers fans had seen this plus having some idiots in front of them taunting and challenging them do you think it would have been any different if the roles were reversed. Yes 99% of fans were on the pitch to soak up the moment but with any club it is the 1% you have to worry about.
I'm afraid the bottom line is , if Hibs fans had kept off the pitch none of the ugly scenes I witnessed on Saturday would have happened.

It's not even 1pc exeterhibby! And now that I've picked up more local info on this issue, it looks like a number of 'Hibs boys' have been involved in these scenes and certainly in Glasgow CC - possibly organised and they are looking for bother!! Possibly some Celtic fans' involvement but not so sure about that! We'll find out more when photo IDs are confirmed. Hibs and Rod P rightly comfortable because we're looking at a celebration - not a massed riot!! Lets see the awful injury list as well if it was so bad!! Re RFC and it's statement, hurt pride comes to mind. THEY BLEW IT AND LOST - THEIR SCRIPT WAS RIPPED UP BY HIBS!

Just tae keep ye up tae date Larry, Kenny Millers Mrs been on Twitter denying he'd been attacked and injured apparently. Havnae seen any direct evidence o' any members I' Rangers staff being assaulted, despite there being f#ck knows how many cameras there. Could Rangers trying tae get hibs banned fae Europe and replacing them themselves be behind any of this. Not at all trying tae say a' hibs fans are angels but Rangers/jabbas press releases are just a tad OTT . Manchester Barcelona anybody

Ive seen the footage of Foderingham being shoved,the fact the hibs fan runs past him then goes back to do that is just plain stupid and will earn himself a day in court if caught.

And so it should Fred. But IF that was the extent o' "Rangers fans and staff assaulted by hibs hooligans" ,bad as it is it doesnae justify Rangers ridiculous statement. The trouble was, Rangers , there fans ,the press, the sfa and everybody else had Rangers winning this before a ba' was kicked. FFS they were even moaning that Scotland's international call ups wid interfere wi' there preparations for Europe.I think a it o' this is just designed as a smokescreen tae the masses tae deflect fae their failure
