Thanks coop, will enjoy our day in the sun, expecting the result you predict .....but just imagine the feeling to be the first club to lose to Hibs in the Scottish Cup since 1902  Whistle .....especially a massive club like yours in their first Scottish Cup final.

I said the same about Leeds United when they went down from the premiership in 2003 / 4 and they are still there........they still have one of the best supports in England despite years of troubles on and off the pitch so doesn't always follow. We have had years of trauma so are used to results like last night and probably next week so surprises me anybody turns up.....so have no doubt the ground base of support will stay. I'll certainly be back next year at ER.....Hibs forever.

I'm looking forward to the cup final regardless. Anything can happen on the day,i just hope we give it our very best shot.

The manager has had 2 seasons and a fair bit of financial support and ultimately has failed to take us forward. So it's time for someone else to have a go now.

Time for a major re-think from the board.

I doubt the Board will have much money to play with now. Cannot afford to sack Stubbs as that will incur a payout we cannot afford so have to hope an English club still want him after all the failure. Huh

I don't doubt your devotion to your club Exeter! But given that Hibs fans are waiting on results before renewing doesn't bode well. As for being the first club to lose in the Scottish cup to you for 114 years it has to happen sometime surely?

Was Bolton not sniffing around for him?

Bolton and Blackburn coop.

Season Ticket sales have been helped by next years sales linked to tickets for the cup final.

Thumb up
If you can keep the spine of the side next season you should come up as champions, Utd will be in disarray, and if Falkirk manage to beat Killie i would imagine them to be much opf the same.

I like stubbs and i think he is a decent guy, He has done some good things for the club which we should be grateful for but i reckon he will step down after the cup final. I like his style of football but you have to have more end product and a be a bit more 'streetwise' than we have been 2nd half of the season. Ultimately he has to take responsibility.

Stubbsy has contributed to a really interesting season hibeejim but he has also made some awful judgements IMO! The play off failure wasn't a great surprise. It was just earlier than expected. Stubbs is a young manager but his bias towards his favourite players has been his undoing. James Keatings situation is a prime example of a striker who had some decent form in matches but he was down in Stubbs' 'pecking order'. He played well and 'bust a gut' last night. He'll be gutted and certainly didn't deserve to be on the losing side!
PS: Got my cup final tickets just before Hibs ticket system 'hit meltdown' - not the 1st time and they cannae even get that right lol!

Who knows Fredster! See my previous thread #7 to 1wattie re loan players, players out of contract and short term deals. A rough estimate is seven. It won't be currently discussed for obvious reasons but I hope Hibs CEO, Leeann Dempster, 'comes to the fore' in tackling this issue and bringing it to a reasonable conclusion. I reckon Hibs positive cup campaigns to 2 domestic cup finals will certainly generate a substantial revenue intake for the club. Whether it's enough of a financial cushion, to push on and actually improve this team even further, I don't know but if Hibs sell Jason? That money will supplement that intake plus ST money. I'll see the details of Hibs annual financial statement but that will prob be issued to shareholders in Dec 2016 - too late to peruse before season 2016-17 begins.
