Huddersfield Town Player of the Year 2015/16

If we are really serious about taking the pee then James Vaughan should win it hands down.

If we ain't I'd go for Ben Chilwell had he stayed or played just a little bit longer. Hmmm, might be yet another song in there somewhere.

I'm leaving my vote to the end of the season. Given his performances a recently signed Mr. Owen Goal is apparently being considered by Wagner for a contract extension. We need to act quick though because a certain Mr. Cellino of Leeds and other addresses, rumoured to be cardboard boxes close to the close to the Crown Courts, has expressed an interest and is considering offering us a £2 million pound transfer fee, payable over 10 years. If he knocks it down to 2 years, Deano will do a deal with him.

What the heck, 3 games won't change much now we are safe.

Under Chris Powell he scored 14 goals in 47 appearances - 30%, near enough 1 in 3 games.

Under Wagbo he has scored 14 in 29, almost 50%.

He's also took on my suggestion that he doesn't whack the crap out of the ball every time he takes a shot and learns to pass it into the net (think Wagbo might have had more influence than me). It did result in a penalty getting saved recently but we've been crap at penalties ever since Smithies scored one at Wembley.

Wells gets my vote. Our system now suits him more than Powell's did as the ball is played more on the floor for him to turn his defenders or run between them rather than a foot above his head where he just used to get battered all the time.

As above Wells could have bagged 30+ had his ratio to chances created improved from 3 or 4 to 1, but playing alone up front dropping deep and with little quality delivery he's had a cracking season, his control has improved ten fold this term, I expect interest to tempt him away in the summer.

Deano after a quiet start held the team together for months, got injured , Hoggy came in did well got injured, both samey samey both want to sit and dont offer enough offensively , for me.

Pato I like this guy, would love to see him sign permanent but i think several will be touting for his services, his movement and quick thinking is excellent.

Lynch for me edges the voting, reads the game well, powerful, I firmly beleive he has another 10% in his locker still but was always critical of his ability before, his injury and suspension timing around holiday periods strangely coincidental, but he has turned his game around this season and wins a pot noodle for his efforts.

Finally got around to voting, as I said before nobody has been consistently outstanding bop er the season IMO but I decided that Nahki Wells should get the award. He's just about the only player who hasn't been rotated in the team, he's played up front alone, his overall game has improved massively and he's scored a decent amount of goals but should really be on 25 by now with all the gobbers he's missed
