Where does this leave the campaign to get Pulis 'the hell outta our club'?
I feel some fickleness coming on.

Leicester have got away with murder to be fair against us this season,
Our place well lets not go there 3 blatant pens not given one offside goal ![]() Tonight one hugely flukey goal and there defender got away with murder on the challenge that got Sess so angry. Not bad against the league leaders huh ? Oh here's the challenge that is doing the rounds on twitter and notice how the media seems to have missed it, Wonder if big ears will mention it on MOD tomorrow, Nope thought not, Maybe pullis should ask the FA to look at it aka Martinez ..... ![]() ![]()

Certainly no fickleness from me, because my position has been constant from day one: the man's here to guide us through a period of transition and see us safe at the end of it. Not always pretty to watch - often downright infuriating to watch - but he will do the job, and indeed, he has done the job. The only relevant question is whether he deserves to oversee the continuing rebuild of the squad come summertime and be at the helm next season. He's still got a couple of months to make his case for that, but rest assured that I won't forget some of the dross I've seen in recent weeks when making my mind up on the matter. Life doesn't have to be all feast or famine; something a lot of folks would do well to remember every now and then. One guy who does deserve the plaudits this week is Craig Gardner, and I fully admit that I've been guilty of giving him both barrels in the past. Outstanding stuff from the bloke, and I only wish he could have been delivering this more often the last couple of years. The referee must have seen something I didn't in the tackle he gave Yacob a yellow card for. It was robust yes but there was not much that in my view deserved a yellow card. Perhaps Yacob had been too "robust" for much of the game and this was the ref's chance to punish him for all of that. Can the Albion appeal and should they ?

Disgraceful challenge on Sess although we know the FA will do sod all about it, only little old Albion aren't we?!

We will miss Claudio Yacob and his tenacity but with his style of play, it's highly likely he will pick up a yellow card every other game. He's a marked man ref wise and could also attract straight reds but that's his game and his value to the team would diminish if that aggression was missing.

While I have always edged on the side of not wanting Pulis here, it's periods like this that make me think twice. Perhaps Pulis is just a couple of players short of having a very good team at the Albion, with a very good ethic. I would also like to mention that Chester is quietly starting to become a decent signing. |
