Spot on Saint Charles Owl!! The two bottom Premiership teams should've been automatically relegated but I'd actually add that the points deficit matters in a play off situation - why should any team be given a play-off position when, for example they were possibly 15 pts off the team placed above them - IMO a farcical position that could be easily remedied by stipulating the min points deficit regarded as eligible and also it removes unnecessary match commitments and at least recognises the superior achievement of the team that has earned that right throughout a long, arduous season!!
