Chelsea will impose life bans on supporters who threw coins at Manchester City players during the FA Cup fifth-round tie at Stamford Bridge if they can be identified.

Referee Andre Marriner retrieved several coins that were thrown towards City striker David Faupala and his team-mates as they celebrated his equaliser.

Manchester City went on to lose 5-1.

"We condemn such idiotic and dangerous behaviour," a Chelsea spokesman said.

"It is also worth stating this is a criminal offence and we will support any police prosecution if they can be identified."

So now there are 2 incidents........ Lets see how the FA react to each club......... DD Whistle Whistle

Seems to be doubt even on the twitter feed if it was this guy or " some bald guy on the floor".

Shame this has happened as it has circumvented what we should be discussing, which was yet another atrocious performance by the manager. The decision to sub McClean with Biscuit just beggars belief, when will TP learn strikers can only score if someone gets the ball to them and I do not count a CB hoofing the ball from our 18 yard line as getting the ball to them.

The guys in the photo will recognise themselves so it's easy for them to step forward and clear their names.

The one that does not is clearly the idiot and others will know who he is and will I am sure give him up to the police.

I was at the game and haven't been on here to post till now as it was so depressing to have been in the crowd for what unfolded at the end.

More disappointed about that than the result to be honest  Confused
