I watched the entire game online plus the Sky Sports Match Choice and MoD and to be honest, didn't notice any off-the-ball kick. Did anyone else see it ?

Would have thought one of them would have picked up on it, seeing as they hate the Baggies. DD Whistle Whistle

FA Cup replays could be scrapped with ties played in midweek, while League Cup semi-finals might be reduced to one leg in plans to reduce the number of games for top-flight clubs. (Sun)

If this is true and comes to pass then it is another example of the FA pandering to their elite membership of six, the poor diddums can not cope with their own success and are tired. Everything is geared up so that the elite top four / six can win and keeping winning everything whilst monopolizing the fan base and merchandising. Level playing field, as Jim Royal would say .... my arse.

I have said before ..... let's disband all the lower leagues and early rounds, that way Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea and Liverpool can go straight to the semi finals, the other two names can be pulled out of the hat, also whilst we are at it lets give them a two goal head start in every premier league game, three if they are playing away so that the league table has the correct make up to maximize its commercial appeal ..... after all unless you hail from the north west or London then you do not exist ........

Maybe the 86 should say f##k the premier league and go back to the football league, the six can play with each other until their hearts content ..... it would soon be as boring as the SPL.

West Brom transfer news: Baggies to join race for former Arsenal trainee
13:57, 18 FEB 2016
BY STEVE WOLLASTON
Norwegian midfielder is a target for Tony Pulis according to reports

West Brom are thought to be interested in a move for Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Havard Nordtveit.

The 25-year-old Norwegian is wanted by a number of clubs including West Ham and Southampton, Albion are also interested.

The former Arsenal trainee, will become a free agent at the end of the season after stalling on a new deal with Borussia Monchengladbach.

The Germans hope to keep versatile Nordtveit, who can play defensive midfield or across the back four.

Mexicans eye move for Claudio Yacob

Albion midfielder Claudio Yacob is a possible transfer target for Mexican club Monterrey.

Monterrey are considering a move for the former Argentina international that could complicate the Baggies’ bid to tie Yacob down to a new contract.

Albion have made an opening offer to Yacob in a bid to extend his contract beyond next season.

But Monterrey have added the 27-year-old to their list of possible targets and could now add a fresh obstacle to the negotiations.

Albion have secured Yacob’s services for next season by activating a one-year option in his current deal.

But they hope to agree a longer-term deal to keep him after he impressed boss Tony Pulis at the end of last season, with the club confirming at the weekend that an opening contract offer had been lodged.

Yacob is not thought to be among Monterrey’s top targets, but he is on a list of names that could come into play later in the summer.

Although Monterrey would be unlikely to match Albion financially, they could offer Yacob the chance to return to Latin America after he left Argentinian top-flight outfit Racing Club to join the Baggies in 2012.
