WIGGINS TO CHERRIES CLOSE Mark McAdam is at Bournemouth and he has all the latest as Eddie Howe looks to sign Rhoys Wiggins for the fourth time... "Rhoys Wiggins arrived this morning, he’s a player that Eddie Howe knows well. In fact, Eddie has signed him four times in his managerial career. Once on loan from Crystal Palace, once on loan from Norwich, then permanently before he left for Charlton. "The last time Wiggins played for Bournemouth was back in May 2011 in a League One play-off semi-final against Huddersfield when Bournemouth were beaten on penalties. Fast forward nearly five years he’s on the verge of becoming a Bournemouth players once again but this time a Premier League player. "He turned up this morning, completed the first part of his medical, was driven to the hospital by Operations Manager Steve Fletcher, he’s come back to the club. He’s seen all the press team, he’s signed all the paperwork and we’re just waiting for confirmation on that deal. "The club are actively talking to other clubs, agents and managers about possible acquisitions; it doesn’t seem players will come in. They are working right to the wire and until the deadline." This is from the Sky transfer centre site.
Nothing changes,again.

So McGeady signs and Wiggins is looking like he will be going to Bournemouth, aside from that it currently looks like we will be sticking with what we have!!
Maguire has signed for Oxford after being released by Rotherham.
Apparently it's Newcastle that threw a spanner in the works with the Rhodes deal.
What's this lad from Watford meant to be like?

5 hours still to go, think we are done personally.

Interesting how they see spending 21m on Berahino as better business than potentially 9m on Rhodes!!! MA spending decent money is a first as well!! Yes, we seem to be involved in zero rumours at the moment so either we are done or they will announce a transfer that nobody has seen coming!! Of course since MM took over and now DC we have managed to keep a number of transfers completely secret prior to announcing them so you never know.

I wonder how much Sky Sports paid Man City to announce that Pep is joining them at the end of the season?? Without that news they would have had virtually nothing to discuss on their transfer deadline show, its been the slowest I can remember and when you consider the Wiggins going to Bournemouth is one of the top stories it just shows how quiet it has been!!!
