I have also seen it suggested that everything was agreed and then Gibson the Boro owner just pulled the plug!! Maybe his accountant finally got back to him and said you are cooked with FFP if you sign him. Either way it leaves them weaker.

It's funny how players work well for certain managers and clubs.
I wouldn't be surprised if he turned out to be a decent squad player for them. We will be making a profit on him. To be fair, he looks a better player than Bennett who looks like a little boy in a mans game.
