How do we line up against Villa without Fletcher and Morrison?

It's the madness that brought on by a combination of current inconsistency and history.

One or two great wins and we will be rocking again. But sadly we are faced with a huge potential slip up in the cup followed by losing at home to Villa. Last season they were the cup match and the next fixture as well!

Add to that Saido (as was last year) is distracted by transfer speculation. His head's not right (has it ever been) and he is unlikely to feature this week, even if still an Albion player.

We look to be relying on Big Vic and Fletcher getting off their sick beds and putting in super hero shifts to get us through this trial.

We are always a sandwich short of a picnic, a player short of a squad and this year, yet again, is no different. Newcastle looked in trouble but have persuaded their chairman to fork out to stay in the Premier League and its looks like he'll get what he paid for. Sunderland want to spend but players are reluctant to go there at the moment. But if they do, their manager has the same TP reputation of getting out of trouble.

Until we win tomorrow, and Saturday. I am clinging onto that fact. TP has never been relegated.

To be honest, I DO share the 'deja vu' feeling of dread about (particularly) the next 2 fixtures - games that, in theory, we SHOULD win .......and that's our Achilles heel isn't it?!
Maybe the squad should be brainwashed this week into thinking they're playing Bayern Munich, then Barcelona, we'd probably win both then.
As said on some thread yesterday I really get the feeling that the club could do with a fresh face or 3 at this time more than any other, and it seems like JP's normal reluctance to spend in January may be ill founded for once considering what's at stake for the clubs in the PL next season  Huh

Must admit, I'm starting to feel a bit edgy too. Result tonight in the cup would give us a lift. Lose at Ashton Gate and we will be seriously stressed for Saturdays game.
With Sunderland at home to Bournemouth and Newcastle having every chance of winning at Watford who seem to have hit poor form, we could be seriously back in the relegation fight if we don't get the result against Villa.
Lets hope they get the Southampton performance out of their system tonight!!

I really hope Pulis doesn't go with that Anichebe in midfield thing again against Villa as we wont create shit .
Poco deserves another shot at left back with Brunt,Berahino,or McManaman on the right with Sess in the middle
with Yacob and Fletcher.

it appears so.

THINK POSITIVE for a change
too many doom merchants on here regarding this game

look at it this way
they are crap
we aint much better
they only won 2 games all season(3 if you count their cup game)
