After Tuesday's disappointment at reading a quick turnaround might just be what the terriers need. although a trip to Brighton might not be the best tonic. although performances have been much improved for the terriers of late ,and unbeaten in six league games Saturdays opponent will present a real test for David Wagners side.
Brighton currently sit in 5th place in the division 15 points ahead of the terriers, they will be looking to consolidate their playoff position in the 2nd half of the season a loss could, depending on other results see them slip out of the top six.
Huddersfield will be looking to bounce back after their FA cup exit to Reading. they will be without influential midfielder Jonathan Hogg, who is suspended following his red card Tuesday, but can welcome back equally influential midfielder Dean Whitehead, questions remain over the fitness of sean scannell and Harry bunn, both whom missed the the last game. Jed Steer will almost certainly regain the goalkeeping spot after being cup tied
A great unknown is what potential part could new signing Kazim Matmour play. its common knowledge that Wells has been shouldering the striking position almost single handily and that support was needed, with wagner favoring to rotate players could the Algerian international start on saturday

Brighton will be looking to reignite their season, after being early pace setters they have faltered badly recently having won only 1 of their last 8 games which came last Saturday away to Blackburn. there transfer activity so far this window has been slow, but its no secret Houghton wants to strengthen his squad to make a big push for promotion with rumors that Wiggins may join from wednesday and a proposed big money move for Ecuadorian striker Bolanos, they may have some new faces to show off too come game time saturday

I've gone for a draw in Snoots prediction but I think a flying start again will see us win this one, then them that laughed at us and predicted relagation, will start to take note, quake in their boots they will

We were the first club to take points off them this season and I fancy us to do it again. They have lost their last 3 at home and their win last week was the first goal anywhere in 7 matches. Get in front with an early goal, get their fans on their backs and the world is our lobster in this one - provided we keep 11 men on the pitch.

Whitehead came off on tuesday, wagner said he was only able to have 40mins but his knee got Iced and taped up. Might be precautionary but i dont think he'll be able to do 60 mins yet. I'd possibly suggest that cranie or billing will be starting.

Well those at Brentford who saw Crainie at CM will know he should never play there again, so if Whitehead doesn't start, I think Billing or Holmes would get the nod or he could push pato back into CM and play matmour behind wells.

Well I'd more than happily accept a point now, Brighton might be on a bit of a slump right now but this won't be easy(not that any of thought it would be) I just hope the players stick to the jobs and Nahki can hit them on the break

Think a mid 2 of huws and pato is too attacking and lightweight even for us. Hogg and whitehead are the sitting deep and tick things over midfield roles. They cover everyone else

Surprised to see Bunn in there if he's been injured all week. But then again, Herr Wagner is full of surprises with his team selections.
Is Crainie playing in midfield?
