Guaranteed 95M in the summer yet cant even find 4M for Matt Phillips to cover Morrison who`s out for 2 months.
Cant wait to see the greedy bald twats face when we get relegated which could happen as other teams at the bottom

We all have our opinions but, without being privy to exactly what's going on*, I'd be reluctant to have a go at anyone like this

Literally the same anti JP rhetoric every transfer window from some folks and it's a load of rubbish.

We're an incredibly financially well run football club and long may it continue. I dread the day that we're taken over by someone else. They may have more money than JP but you can guarantee they won't invest as wisely.

Better the devil you know as far as I'm concerned.

Nor me drewks, JP has backed every single manager for as long as I can remember.

I'm not going get into any childish bickering over somebody else's opinion, but for me any rant or insult aimed at JP is really out of order, millions invested, managers backed and one of the best run and solvent clubs in the country, so "tight wad" is totally unjustified and utter nonsense.

My take is - don't believe everything you read, where are the facts that Phillips is available for 4M, where are the facts that he wants to leave "the bright lights" of London to join us and where are the facts that JP can't find the 4M.

I wonder sometimes if a couple of posters on here wouldn't mind seeing us get relegated just so they could turn round and say I told you so. Well, to quote a well known saying "I would love it" if the more supportive and positive supporters could turn round at the end of the season when JP and TP have kept us in the promised land of milk and honey above some of the teams who have splashed millions trying to get out of the hole they're in, and say despite your negative ramblings throughout the season, we told you so!!!!

Pretty sure Pulis said he sees Phillips playing in the number 10 position if we ever signed him and seem to remember him
having a medical at the training ground in the summer which proves he`d be keen on the move.
Just read Peace now wants 30M for Berahino which just proves how much of a money grabber the bloke is.

I suspect you're only valuing Matt Phillips at £4 million because that's what Charlie Austin went to Southampton for. Unless you have a source for your figure, in which case let's see it.
And JP a tightwad? Brown Ideye £10 million, Salomon Rondon £12 million, James Chester £8 million, Jonny Evans £6 million?
And if you don't rate those players, don't blame JP. He leaves player recruitment to the people responsible.
