Dont think we will see Lee, Lees & Hutch until after the international break at the earliest, if then tbh. Theres definitely something wrong with fitness/recovery progam for our injured players. Lavery is also out longer than scheduled for.

Apparently, it's Lees' first muscular injury of his career. The evidence is builing up regarding our Injury Prevention Team, or rather the lack of it.

I don't get why he even bothered to comment on Lee being available for this game if he had no intention of putting him in the squad!! If he was ready to go then he should have been on the bench at least to give us more options. As for putting a couple of hundred bums on seats in the stadium, do we really believe that the return of Lee would do that anyway?? Imo, he is just giving the media and the fans statements that they want to hear, real truth doesn't come into it these days with football, its run like the Secret Service with regards to believable information!!!

You keep saying that, but surely MM/PA/SG are aware of the benefits a program like that offers?? Sure I can see MM keeping the costs down across the board but injured players cost us money with no return and as a businessman surely he is aware of that??

We weren't good last night but teams up against big mick rarely are, he sets his side up to get points and doesn't care how ugly it may be.
Zayettes goal should've counted and had that challenge been made anywhere else on the pitch it wouldn't have been a foul.
What really bothered me last night is the amount of times we got round their full backs, I can only recall Buxton really stretching the LB once, and their RB was absolutely awful yet we never tried to take him on.
Totally frustrated and cheesed off, it's ridiculous how close we are to the top considering what we have at our disposal though

Think MM decides on these matters & SG has to go along with it. If someone brings up that it cost us promotion then he will say there was no guarantee we would have done better wuth Hutch & Lee in the team and / or injuries happen in football & we have to live with them.

SG says Lees just started training today but Lee and Hutch will be involved on Saturday.
I agree with Madsteve's ratings.
No one in particular stood out but SG was wrong to switch May to the LW because Nuhiu was stranded up top by himself.
The Zayatte goal should have stood (having seen replays) but I knew Nuhiu would be offside for the 2nd disallowed as he's always taking up these positions at FK.
The Ipswich goal was a clear handball from my seat - directly inline - 70 rows up on the kop.
The referee wasn't as bad as the Reading ref (who was consistently bad) but he made a few which wound up the players (Maguire for one who I think was subbed because of his frustration).
One decision which sticks in my head was in front of the kop, Maguire was watching the ball out but an Ipswich player came round the side. Maguire had the ball kicked against him but the ball bounced back to said Ipswich player, who knocked the ball out of play.
The ref gave a corner, the whole kop was up in arms and Maguire was bemused. He pointed to the kop to say "these all saw it, how did you miss it?"

It really is crazy to think we could have been 2nd right now had we not dropped silly points and had blatantly biased/poor ref's.
With the squad we currently have at our disposal we're much higher in the league than I originally anticipated at the start of the season, it's amazing what belief and a bit of heart can achieve on the pitch. I have no concerns regarding our Championship safety. You can argue that much better squads than ours have gone down, Wolves the other season being one. I don't think they ever played with the ambition we're TRYING to instill in the squad.
We were definitely robbed the other night, but having watched the replays it's fair that our 2 were disallowed, what ISN'T fair is that their's should also have been disallowed for blatant effing handball. Zayatte did have hands on the shoulder of his man, he was also pushing into the back of him, albeit gently. Nuhui was stood in no mans land like a muppet during a dead ball situation, that's unacceptable.
We should have won 1-0 3pts and a clean sheet at home, but piss poor officiating means we took a point against an in form team and stopped the rot at home. So at the end of the day it's not soul crushing just very frustrating. This is just the tip of the iceberg really, ref's are going to have it in for us all season we need to carry on as we started and scrape through by our own grace despite the tw@ in black.
UTO! We'll never be pig scum!

Yes but Stateside it may be frustrating as you suggest but until we can put the ball in the net and have it count more then just the once per match we are always going to be susceptible to the opposition levelling things up, illegally or not. Our defence may well be better then it has been for many a season but there is always a fair assumption to be made that 1-0 is never enough.

IN CONTENTION !!.. they need to be the 1st two names on the teamsheet IMO, give Maguire a little reminder he's not Pele, get him on the bench and maybe Nuhiu too, give Madine a start, SG needs to remind some of the players that they are not bigger than the club, just my opinion.
Big Brother is watching you !!
