I wonder how the referee feels about being deemed to have made an 'obvious error'? Either the appeals panel have got it wrong, or the ref's crap.

What a ridiculous precedent to set, now the F.A. have clearly said that it is OK to raise a hand to an opponent. I think the panel must have been drawn in by Yacob's Oscar attempt, but, however Yacob's reacted is totally irrelevant.

The question is simple did Cameron raise his hand to the head an opponent or not, if yes its a straight red no matter if the opponent did not move an inch or rolled around covering every blade of grass on the pitch.

Did Cameron raise his hand yes, straight red end of story

Makes you wonder how Rondon feels. He neither struck or head-butted an opponent - just head to head and he suffered a 3 match ban whereby the Stoke thug Cameron rabbit punched Yacob albeit lightly, and gets off.

So now, a half pace slap in the face by a player on an opponent is not an offence. As Salop says, the precedent has been set.  Disgraceful.

I don't know. Rondon kicked and showed aggression as well. I can't say I disagree with the decision. Soft from Yacob, don't like how soft the game is now! Would have been fuming if an Albion player was dismissed for that.

Rondon lost his head and it looked a lot worse!
