It's a shame to have a break from league action, given we are hitting good form again. I have a wee soft spot for the Blue Brazil and look forward to hosting them at Ibrox. Hopefully some of the fringe players can get some game time, and state a case for inclusion given the new additions that will be arriving shortly. And it would be nice to see Forrester get a run out if clearance is in time. 4-0 Bears.

Yeah, would be good to see Hardie and Walsh get some meaningful game time. Seems they've not had much sight of the first team lately.

That's probably been the biggest setback caused by the run of poor form and results we had - there's been no scope to get the younger players some game time. Warburton talks about them needing to see a path to the first team but since we signed Oduwa, Zelalem and Ball on loan our own youngsters have been pushed to the margins. Mind you, the other thing he said was that they have to show they're better than these guys so I'm sure they'll get a chance if they do well enough in training and in development matches.

I'm feeling pretty frustrated by that Cowdenbeath goal. Another free kick on the edge of our box, another once-in-a-lifetime wondergoal. It's happened to us time after time in the last few seasons.

That was an enjoyable game, full of fluid, flowing, on the deck football ... from both teams - well played both.

I anything we were far more dominant than the scoreline suggests, although it would have been nice to score more from open play.
