R.I.P. Arnold Peralta.

He is not the first footballer to be murdered, there was Andreas Escobar and way before him Ted Robledo, were victims too.

Just a lad, a real waste.

What a horrible end to this player's life! Ex Hibs midfielder, Jorge Claros, experienced a similar shooting incident in the Honduras when he was shot in the head and very lucky to survive with a deep graze! The Honduras is a lawless country with out of control gun and machete crimes that render this country as one of the most violent/dangerous in the world with lotsa victims, men and women - a shocker!

The gang culture in Honduras is horrendous, the police are pretty much powerless to stop it. Even the jails are run by the gangs.

26 years old. A young family left fatherless. An international footballer's life snuffed out in a second. Why? Just f*cking why?

A senseless act and a senseless waste.

Arnold Fabián Peralta Sosa - Thank you for wearing our colours, thank you for carrying our crest, thank you for living our dream. May you rest in peace.
