I'll give the guy the same chance i have given every other manager

this reminds me very much of the Lee Clark appointment, a young manager to shake things up and bring in fresh ideas, although his tenure ended poorly LC's first year in charge we played some very good football, he just compromised his own philosophy after getting muscled out by Millwall in the playoffs

if Wagner sticks to his philosophy and is half as good as the hype we could be in for a very fun ride.

by all accounts hes stamped his authority on the team already by running a double session yesterday and will be by all accounts running double training sessions throughout their time in Spain

Need to be fit as flees to play the way he wants to play so a jolly old piss up in the sun this will not be.

I must admit that I'm quite excited by this appointment although not carried away. There will be a transitional period which could be traumatic - but at least I feel this is an effort to have a bit of a go. I mean that in terms of playing more engaging and entertaining football which seems to have been a big issue reading many past posts. Town have been such a constant in my life through rough, rougher and occasional smooth that this season now becomes one of the really interesting ones. I think the timing of this appointment seems to have been very considered and precise. Good luck David Wagner and here's to Chris Powell being back in football in the very near future. UTT!
