Ah, but, if only he was good enough to have aimed it where McGregor's head wasn't.
See how facile that line of argument is?
--------------------------------------
Amazing bit of good fortune for McGregor though. As was the decision not to award a penalty because it was too early in the game, and Oduwa's shot off the post, and the clearance off the line. Etc., etc., etc.
Bottom line is 5 points clear. Hibs can't afford to drop any more points, whereas we can. We welcome the chase.

Forgot all about the game lol.. I see we lost. ah well canny win them all I guess, so back to the drawing board. We have not been playing great stuff lately especially in front of goal and deep in defence in closing down. Sure it will be worked on, and agree a couple of players in January will likely be a big help, but finding players of the right calibre at the right price is not easy, especially in Jan.
Good 3 points for Hibs, so well done to them.

The bottom line is that Rangers are 5 points ahead, but Hibs can afford to drop more points, as long as it's 6 less than Rangers. Hibs overtook Rangers last season and it's quite possible we can do it again this season.
I will agree that McGregor's intervention was a fine piece of defending, though. Either that or Wallace was rubbish - you decide.

It was the 'old pals act', Ritchie.

We played well in the second half, Struth, and were very unlucky to not be ahead when Hibs scored the winner.
There seems to be a lot of fans out there able to concentrate on nothing but the result though. You know, the ones that boo their own players. Then, of course, get online and boo the manager.
The only think that puzzled me was the move away from the 433 - although maybe the whole point was to do the unexpected.

good game,2 teams trying tae win, rangers could've had a penalty, waghorn should've been sent off for his assault on fyvie, who by the way,got the ba' cleanly, warburton, respectfully, ungracious in defeat, saying there was only one team in it ,dinnae really like stats as they can mean what ye want them tae mean, rangers probably did have mair possession but ye cannae score goals passing it along the back 4 and back tae the keeper, foderingham had a lot mair touches o' the ba' than Oxley, and hibs, according tae the stats warburton forgot tae mention, had mair chances on goal. anyway, game on. Happy to help develop your vocabulary, ritchie. Maybe try learning what the word means first before mindlessly regurgitating it, though. Just a wee word of encouragement, ken.

First off, you can't blindly agree on a point that wasn't made in the first place. That doesn't make any sense. Secondly - Wallace was unlucky, MacGregor was lucky - I've decided.

If that was the case, Rangers wouldn't have got the free kick and Fyvie wouldn't have been booked for his reckless studs-up challenge. But we did, and he did.
