Ach well, 100% record gone, defeated away by our closest rivals and only 5 points ahead in the league. I guess we might as well write off this season and hope for a play-off place. . .

SPFL2, (Championship) Sunday, 01/11/2015 : Hibernian 2-1 Rangers

What a weird feeling ... Rangers losing a match ... most odd.
It was nice of Darren McGregor to deflect Lee Wallace's shot into the Hibbie net for our equaliser to Jason Cummings' opener, but Hibernian regained and then kept the lead when Hanlon scored from a corner.
The points gap is now 5, with all teams having played 12 games.

Attendance : 14,412 (SSN)

I think we were unlucky today. Some very positive football in the 2nd. Oh, well, on to the next game.

I didn't see the game today but it sounds like we were the better side for most of the match, and considering how off the boil we've been lately I'm not too despondent. It does however further reinforce our increasingly obvious need for another reliable striker to take the burden off Waghorn.

It's all about the 3 points, lads. I thought Rangers were unlucky too, only scoring once through a deflection and not getting a penalty nor a Hibs player sent off. Terrible that. Whistle

I thought the ball of the bar and on to the line was crucial.

It was indeed. If only he'd been good enough to keep it down, he might have scored.

I think you will find McGregor's block played it off the bar.
