I think it says it all about how happy we are with how things are shaping up now at Rangers that the vast majority of our support isn't really that bothered about this case any more. It would be good to know exactly what went on, and if people screwed us and get punished for it, that's great. But it's all water under the bridge now. The only point of concern is whether or not we end up paying for Green's legal fees.

Think we all realise - through experience it would seem - that this was only a procedural preliminary hearing. The real fireworks will be later.

As far as I can see it's only Celtic fans (and one or two moronic Hearts fans) that are remotely interested in it.

I totally understand the majority of Rangers fans thoughts on this, and the fact that things are finally coming together on the park helps create the feelgood factor surrounding the club....but you can't allow yourselves to stick your heads in the sand as regards the off-field stuff (again). There is still a world of financial pain to come and far more questions than answers so far from within the marbled halls. Experience has taught me that this won't be popular on here, but it surely has to be acknowledged , if not debated ?.
Anyway, nice to be back on here, hope that doesn't p1ss off too many of you Smile

ps.....Charles Green will win the right to have his fees paid by the club and it seems senseless to me to be throwing good money at trying to fight that

Seems the weekend lawyers are out in force here. King is smart enough to have sought council on this before fighting the challenge, whatever way it goes he must think the club have a chance by arguing the case.

Not sure seeking council prior to deciding what to do is any guarantee of winning a case!!  Surely both sides seek council, so one of them will be wrong and one right!  There is also the aspect of public opinion to consider, by challenging his claim to have Rangers pay his legal costs the club both distance themselves from that era both in the media and to an extent in the courts and will probably score some brownie points with the fanbase, both of those things could be worth spending a few thousand quid to challenge this.

You've seen the evidence then?  No, that's right, you don't do evidence just opinions.

"King isn't smart". Ffs.

I suspect that you aren't even watertight.
