Big game, points wise, being at home and am hoping for a very high tempo performance from Warburton's young lads. Falkirk are one of our main challengers and will be desparate to pull back some points, as will other teams in the hunt. Hoping for a win

Dean Shiels in for Gedion Zelalem, McKay and Oduwa both start.

Need to keep the tempo high and dominate from the start.

3-1 final score, an important lesson in patience learned today. Falkirk were stuffy and broke well, but didn't really threaten our 'keeper apart from the usual goal-of-a-lifetime that everyone seems to score against us. Again, both full-backs get on the score-sheet, Tavernier with another trademark free-kick and Wallace with a fine shot through a dishevelled and chaotic defence in stoppage time.

9 league games, 9 wins, 9 points clear of Raith Rovers who take over as our closest title rivals.

SPFL2 (Championship), Saturday 03/10/2015 : Rangers 3-1 Falkirk

This match clashed with Villa's match and I was undecided what game to watch.
Fortunately I watched Rangers on the stream, thereby saving myself x £s and an afternoon of frustration.

After taking the lead after 3 minutes (Shiels), Rangers became disjointed, with lots of loose passing. Falkirk equalised with a 'worldie' shot following a corner, so it was 1-1 at half-time. The second half was a bit better, especially after the substitutions and late goals from Tavernier and Wallace won the match. Rangers are now 9 points ahead of second placed Raith Rovers and have won all 9 League games.

Attendance : 45,135 (RTV)

Tavernier is scoring some crucial goals for you, something you will need form others in the team as you go through the season. He was on loan with us a couple of years ago and looked a good prospect, better going forward than defending but that is often the case with full backs.

Seems to have been a trying time, and had 11 shots to 3. patience paid off this time and as said 9 in a row......sounds familiar that
