So how much do you lot pay for fuel ?

I'm currently paying £1.057 per litre (roughly £4.85 a gallon) for diesel so economy is one of our first thoughts when buying a car in the Motherland. My new 2.2L I-DTEC (or summat like that) is alleged to do a combined 67.3 MPG (funny how the twats sell us fuel in litres then quote mileages in gallons   ) but it will do 0-60 in 8 seconds    and has a top speed of 135 MPH  

I haven't tested the 135 MPH yet as the wife thinks the speed bumps near us will ruin the suspension and there is a 20 MPH zone just round the corner  

You will never get any where near that to the gallon, unless you drive like my Dad

OWL 1 is up for £82588 

Wow, over here I am amazed they haven't realized the potential of selling personalized plates!!  Assuming OWL 1 is not being used here in CA, it would cost about $150 (90 quid) to get that license plate!!!  And of course it would be available in each state as well.

My WA plate is 'THEOWLS' and costs about what SCO said.  It would be cheaper but I now also have A University of Washington specialized plate too not just the standard state plate.  The extra money goes to the university and some of the other state programs.

I tend to take mine to the asylum seekers   Full hand wash, wax and polish, tyre black, internal vac & trim polish (including boot) and a free air freshener all for 10 quid while I sit and read the papers for half an hour

Always wash mine myself. When you take them through these hand car washes they always come out streaky and covered in bits of cloth!!

Have to admit I have never washed my own car!!!!! Always take it through either the hand wash place (its all Mexican's doing it here, not asylum seekers!!) or just a regular touchless car wash. As its a company car they pay for it as well!

    I believe this is a popular model in Stateside's neck of the woods !! Gas mileage might be a bit poor though.

It was Consilio 4.5 mile walk, 1000 steps through the gorges and 14 waterfalls along the way

But it was really the winding roads on the A65 I wanted to test out the car on the Waterfall Walk was a sop to the Missis
