Nine Year Old Baggie Signed

Well he's seventeen. On loan.

Loved Rai Simons enthusiasm on the website. Think he sounds like a young player who'd make a difference from the bench in a few first team games.

Signed Herd till January but could be extended. Worrying thing for me is Herd's past injuries.

Yes true Matt but a step above this level if he can get a run of games together. We seem to be trending towards signing higher level players with an injury history.Hope it works out.

I suppose signing higher level players is a good thing as it raises the profile of the club and it might make other higher level players think about joining us as well. "Oh Ebanks-Blake has joined Chesterfield I wonder what's attracted him there, coaches, facilities etc". If we were still at Saltergate there would be no way we would have attracted players like Doyle, Roberts, Clucas, Ebanks-Blake etc.

Till January isn't too big a risk if he can reach the Aussie international squad ....... but I kinda feel we may be providing a lot of work for Roger Wylde.
