Needed a penalty to break the deadlock.
Beeb already blaming the pitch for Englands inability to make passes

The pitch is awful and San Marino are certainly more cynical with their "tackles"!!! Well done to Wayne Rooney for equaling the all time England scoring record!!

I was thinking the same and that DC had sold our old pitch on eBay to San Marino

2-0, own goal after a nice cross from Shaw.
Ross Barkley has the potential to be a real star!! Love watching him play!!
Easy enough first half, as expected. San Marino defending in numbers and just hoofing it away at every opportunity. They will tire in the second half so I still expect England to score at least 5 goals and hopefully see Rooney get the new record!!
3-0, Barkley gets the third with a header after a nice cross from Chamberlain.

It's not that bad! It's one way traffic against a team who are defending with 10 men!! The pitch is awful and not helping but so far it's a very professional performance.
4-0, Walcott.
5-0, nice finish from Kane after a good pass from Shelvey.
6-0 Walcott, another nice through ball and good finish.

Also if it stays like this then Washington will win the nearest minutes, which is currently 312 and he has 290.
