Match Thread - The Best XI for the rest of the year!!

Hutchinson is our best holding CM player. The problems are that he is prone to injury, cannot play two games per week and makes reckless tackles that give away free kicks in dangerous areas, earn him cards & make his injuries worse. If CC can eliminate this weakness from his game then we have the best player in the division for this position for 34 games of the season.

While Semedo has been an able deputy, he is nowhere near as good as Hutchinson. In fact, from what I have seen, Melo is a better replacement for Hutchinson. Semedo has been a good servant for us but it appears that we have moved forward a bit further than he can manage.

The key over the next couple of months is working out how to get the best out of our most talented players and to score goals & win matches.

The best part about this, is the burden of choice.

I feel the same way, MS.

Hutchinson IS a quality player but at the same time incredibly reckless, you can guarantee he will give away a dangerous free kick outside the box EVERY game to go along with his mandatory yellow.

We all love Seme, this new age we're moving into will sadly leave him behind. I doubt we'll even keep the only two products to make it through our Academy into the first team in recent years. Lavery & Palmer will be moving on come the end of the season.

Lavery was barely good enough last season & is way behind now. Palmer might grow with us. He isn't far behind Hunt and is our only alternative at RB.

Lavery didn't come through our Academy. We signed him from Ipswich when he was 19.

Nice one, MS. I stand corrected.

I'm assuming we'll undergo heavy investment at the end of this campaign, unless Palmer grows exponentially I can't see him sticking around much longer personally.

I'm also assuming Lavery, Nuhui will leave on frees unless someone actually wants to pay real money for them.

Do you know who else happens to be out of contract at the end of this season?
