They've been trying to scrap human rights in Britain for a long time. They violated the shit out of me and my human rights as I tried to re-integrate my family back to England in 2013 and faced nothing but ceaseless discrimination. I was returning to care for my mother whom has Parkinsons Disease.
Even fighting it all the way to a tribunal in London was nothing more than going through the motions. A barrister at the time said, and I quote from my correspondence.
"This may be one of those cases where there is preferable treatment given to citizens moving within the EU. He is effectively being discriminated against vis a vie someone returning from France for example but do not think that is challengeable. Article 14 HRA would be the only legal hat to hang an argument on but would be justifiable discrimination as a consequence of membership of the EU. The Government would happily have excluded EEA member states by way of a residence requirement but they cannot because of EU law."
So effectively, indigenous Brits have less rights in their own country than other EU citizens and Refugees moving around with protected status.
Britain's shutting down, desperate to secede from anything giving the Serfs ( we're still Serfs, we still work for/ pay and serve Lords and a Monarchy) their rights and once the Tories have finished running it in to the ground they're leaving it to the pond life that's steadily breeding and bending the system to its own advantage.
So... I'd string the lot up and help Thurny there!
Anyone refusing to build a better community for the benefit of ALL peoples for whatever ideological/religious/political reason, Is not truly religious, has no grasp of politics and carries only one ideology.

I know he is a blunt, but I have always liked Sean Bean and always been quite proud that he is from Sheffield when I see him in movies or on TV. Its a bit like Michael Palin or Def Leppard, who are huge over here, they are also blunts but in reality are more known for their chosen career and outside of Sheffield I don't think many know of their football allegiance!
As for politicians, makes no real difference what color rosette they wear, too many of them are in it for the wrong reasons or are corrupted by outside influences such as lobby groups etc. We can shoot them all only to end up seeing them democratically replaced by someone just as dodgy!! I have no answer to how you change that other than at least be thankful that we do have the opportunity to try to vote them out every 4-5 years without having to resort to bloodshed like some other countries do.
Ironically, probably the best person to currently run Britain and have Britain's true interests at heart would be the Queen. Whatever you think about the monarchy she is probably wiser, kinder and more concerned about Britain than the whole of the House of Commons put together!!! I also get the impression that she wouldn't accept some of the shit other countries throw our way via the EU!!
