The news that Stubbs and his back room staff have signed an extension to their contracts will be like music to a lot of fans ears simply because it shows the commitment that they have to get us going upwards and it rubs shit in the faces of those who had him walking away.
I think most of us would agree that letting Allan go to Ibrox is probably the best thing for Hibs because he has obviously thrown the dolly out of the pram and will never produce the form he showed last season in a Hibs jersey again. If he thought for a minute he would realise that he is the last in a line of players unsettled by the bigot brothers to force a move. He may also reflect on the fact that very few make the grade (scott Brown the outstanding exception) and end up playing in the lower leagues of the English game.
Hibs will survive without Scott Allan BUT will Scott Allan survive without Hibs ?. We gave him a chance when Rangers didn`t want him without us he might have been playing for the likes of Cowdenbeath or Alloa.

The only unsettling thing is the fact Hibs reneged on the agreement between Allan and Club. And Stubbs wasn't exactly an angel when he effectively downed tools at Bolton.

That should be the last bid now, sign him on a pre contract Jan and hopefuly condemn Hibs to a few years in the championship. Wink

Yep. Good, calculating timing by this desperate predatory football club but didn't most Hibs fans expect them to do exactly that after the disgraceful behaviour/events that have already unfolded??? No discreet approach to ask the question of Hibs because that was never part of their plan to conduct their business in this way. I'd argue that Rangers next offer to Hibs will not happen before Saturday's match. It will come before Hibs fixture v Rangers at Ibrox later on in August - cold and calculating!! I hope Hibs murder this Rangers team in the Championship this season and do a Hearts on them!!!! Why?? Because they deserve it!!! There's a right way and a wrong way to conduct football business and Hibs have rightly responded decisively to these orchestrations. Forget the 2-6 cup defeat at ER - they know that Hibs are gonna pose a serious threat to them and they are desperate to return automatically to the Scottish Premiership!

According tonight's EEN rankers are going to make another offer for Scott Allan. I'm a bit confused by all this crap FI the Glasgow outfit 3 bids well below the players worth 3 simple answers of NO.

What part of NO can they not understand it will be interesting to see if they make the 4 th reported bid are they just pulling the wool over there supporters trying to buy Scott but no they have no chance but kid the fans on that they will keep trying.

It's all turning into a comedy act now maybe Dave King should get his reported Millions out ! That's if he's got any in the first place. Ha ha ha ha a ha ha ha ha
