I've been dwelling on what Leeds Utd are charging Town fans on Saturday. £36 is silly money if you ask me and they are seeing an opportunity to rip us off for the 3rd year running and taking it. Some of you argue that, because this is a local derby and you take into account less travelling costs, it's still a cheap away day. Although 1,600 have parted with the money, it's not a sell out yet. Is it usually a sell out? This says that whilst 1,600 are stumping up, a few hundred aren't. I paid it in the 12/13 season because I wanted to say I'd been to the the away derby at least once but I refused last season and the same again this one. Like last season, I am meeting pals in Huddersfield and hoping not to get the same updates coming through on my phone!
Are you going? Are you paying gladly or grudgingly?
If you're not going, is it out of protest or for some other reason? In other words, if you could go, would you pay?
How much is too much? Do you weigh up the cost of tickets with travel and other expenses?

I'm going, I've been every time.
Now before I start. Let me just say that everyone is entitled to make their own mind up, I'm not judging anyone on this.
Right for me it's a relatively cheap away day. £36 in and £4.30 on the train so just over £40. However I won't be buying a programme and I won't be purchasing any refreshments inside Bellend Road.
Is it usually a sell out....No. I think we have only sold out our allocation once when we drew 2-2 and that was only because we won the previous season and Fans thought we had a chance of winning again.
Is £36 to much for Championship football, Yes but it's not just Leeds that charge silly money and often it's the Leeds fans who get the worst of all this Category pricing structure. For Example when they play away at Ipswich they get charged something like £42/43 for a ticket

I wouldn't pay anyway. I have no desire to watch a football match at Leeds, and it would be too expensive for me to bother. If I lived up north, even if the ticket was free, I probably still wouldn't go, I'd go somewhere nice instead. Watching Town is not something I find particularly fun.
Et in Arcadia Ego.

Wakey persuaded me to pay the £36 two years ago and Town won, so it was worth it. Last year and this, it's not really convenient for me to travel up, so Wakey gets to have a lads' day out without me. Next season (assuming we're both in the same division) it'll be more of a dilemma. I'm not sure.
Leeds fans getting charged high prices everywhere they go isn't really my problem and, as Wakey says about virtually everything else, two wrongs don't make a right!

The fact I'd rather cut the grass and put shelves up in my new shed than pay them that kind of money says it all for me. Would I go if it was 10 squid cheaper? Maybe, maybe not. I'd sooner spend money on a day trip down the smoke to watch Town than spend an afternoon in Leeds. I've just ordered my Wolves ticket even though I don't know for certain which continent I could be in let alone which country at the moment.

Having been today, I can safely say £36 is too much.

For me personally it's a pride thing to be there stems from being a kid supporting town in Mirf, stand up to their intimidation, their delusion, to show a unity that we're a proper club with history. little old Udders (until the past 2 visits now) have been a thorn in their side, that's why yesterday they had 5-6,000 home fans on their usual gate, they can say what they want but we've got under their skin steadily since Cowlings winner and for me, £100 I'd have to pay that if that was their admission wind rain or shine - but in answer to the original question £25 should be the cap for Championship footy adult entrance without doubt, less if possible. Anyhow tickets will be much cheaper in Div 3 next season ........
