Only first team youngsters that haven't been 'blooded' yet are Sinammon, Halkett and Kelly. Unless you mean the whole U18 squad?

Average age of the full first team squad is now 23.6 years, and only two players are over the age of thirty (Miller and Zaliukas) and I don't expect they'll be asked to too much this coming season. Unless we sign a raft of players before the Hibs game, we'll have no option but to play youngsters. Even then, the players we would bring in would be younger rather than older, overall.

Might not be a bad idea the cup is pretty much worthless and it's an opportunity to get first team experience into them.

Due to the lack of pre-season games organised, Warburton will have to use this game to appraise the capabilities of the first team squad, not the U18s. Their time will come under the new manager.

That's a fair point Trus,though I wasn't meaning the entire 18's.

I love to listen to it - makes me feel like wearing my "Yes!" badge.

Meh.

Scott Allan on bench. I said he wouldn't play and don't think he will.

We sign who we want (hopefully).

Hmm, could be getting pumped here if hibs knew how to finish.

What a free kick.

One all.

Great goal from open play. This boy Tavernier is a cracker so far.
