Sheridan is not good enough.

Reading up on Carvalhal. He has written intellectual papers on tactics. maybe we need a better tactician.

I think the mistake that a lot of fans are making is that they want a Manager whereas DC is looking for a Head Coach.
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

Alladyce is more of a manager I would guess

It will be someone totally unexpected. The bookies are changing the odds to make it seem like they're in the know.

My money is on ancelotti Whistle

Totally agree St Charles. Sheridan would be a bad move. Not a new direction at, just another ex player who would ultimately tarnish his hero status. I think it will be a foreign coach who will fit into our new structure. Would not be impressed with Erikson either, Big Sam is a manager and would not want to relinquish the power.

Carlos Carvalhal 1/6, 4/11, 1/5 and 1/3 at various bookies.

He's got an awful record.

14 clubs in 17 years.

I hope whoever is advising DC knows what he's doing

How many of us had heard of Jokanovic or Karanka when they were put in charge at Watford & Middlesboro?
Nothing great will ever be achieved without great men, and men are great only if they are determined to be so. For glory gives herself only to those who have always dreamed of her.

True Kev. Though I remember Jokanovic when he played for Chelsea about 15 years ago.

He's a proven 'Head Coach' too. I'd like to have Jokanovic personally, if not then Warburton.

The thought of this Carvalhal guy completely underwhelms me, I just cannot see the point in sacking Gray for someone of the same calibre.

Knew them as players and they were new and upcoming coaches.  This guys been around for years and looks like he's had a poor record virtually everywhere he has been!!
