There's one we do at work which is good however does involve elimination.
Last man Standing.
Basically all you have to do is pick on team a week and they have to win to progress to the next round.
Only league games count from Friday-Monday and only Leagues Premiership -> League 2
You can only pick one team once.
Sounds really easy but is actually a lot harder than it seems. All you need is a Chelsea etc... to draw and before you know it half of the entrants are out.
We obviously put a Fiver in each time the competition starts again, so dont know if it would work on here.

I would quite like the idea of that Dev Wakey. I'm sure we have run something similar to this before.
We could do smaller leagues like mini tournaments. You pick from the prem every week. You can only pick a team once, so once you use them they are gone. The winner is the last one standing, gains a point and we go again.
The only thing is it gets a bit boring if it goes on for 8 weeks and someone gets knocked out in week 1, but in general I like the game.

The only thing is it gets a bit boring if it goes on for 8 weeks, says Luke. Which is my point about having a Prediction league for all season - two halves yes, prior to New Year and after, with the same idea as now, but with a different points system to make it more interesting.
Make it for only on Saturdays - two days or even three was killing, and increase it to 15 games to include Championship.
This is a basic idea, any agree or disagree, whatever it is we need to sort it sooner than later.

Wrong time to worry about it BBB. Bring it back up after the fixtures are released or even better when pre-season fixtures are starting, then we will find out who is still interested in doing it.
