Strikers

We have 3 strikers and we're supposedly willing to listen to offers for all three at the right price (and top 4 for Berahino). I doubt all of them will go but at least one will probably be gone. I'd like us to go into next season with 4 decent strikers who we're happy to play (Nabi could be one of them but I doubt it since he hasn't been that close to the team yet).

With our style of play we'll probably start with an out and out striker and one playing a bit deeper of we have someone to do that (Berahino). I quite like his partnership with big Vic and I think they link up well but Anichebe is so injury prone and maybe lacking goals even if Saido would be scoring from behind him.

We'll maybe look for one or two smaller Berahino type strikers (maybe Bamford on loan from Chelsea?) and at least one big target man type, more if Vic/Ideye leave. We'll look at free agents and loans (I think Carlton Cole and Shola Ameobi may have both been released Doh ). We'll have some money to spend (especially if we sell Berahino but I'd like to keep him and we have a decent chance imo) but this money may go elsewhere (full backs and wingers).

Who would you want to be sold and are Vic/Ideye good enough to start next season?

I can see Ideye staying and probably Vic as well. Saido well who knows, with all the bad press his agent is getting and an obvious bond between TP and SB flourishing just maybe SB will stay one more year as well. So at least one good striker in the vein of Vic with Nabi in reserve for emergencies and a replacement for SB if needed.

A couple of good wingers and a couple (at least) of full backs are equally as essential for me, if not more essential.

I'd like to see Ideye go. Just don't think he's anywhere near Prem standard.

He's had a couple of good games, namely West Ham at home, but was all often useless
and struggled with the basics such as executing a simple 10 yard pass. Maybe he'd be
more suited to another league.

Ideally Saido would stay along with Victor and be complemented by 2 more. Obviously
Saido staying will depend upon the contact situation and offers though. I expect he'll
probably go and end up sitting on the bench for one of the Champions League sides. When
you think that the likes of Bony, Dzeko, Jovetic, Lukaku, Walcott and Falcao are only bit
part at the top sides, he probably should stay for another year if he's keen on playing
football on a regular basis.

I think we'll probably buy at least 1 tall and 1 fast striker as that's what TP usually likes.
I'd also expect us to sign a winger or 2 to whip some balls into the box from open play.

I would keep Ideye and give him a full pre-season. I suspect there is a good player in there for next season. I respect 'Big Vic' for what he has done, but sadly we can't afford to carry him and he needs to go.

Totally agree, especially regarding Big Vic - really rate him but the muscle mountain is, strangely,  just too powder puff

I would like to see:
Victor go (just doesn't Carey enough goal threat)
Ideye / Berahino stay
1 more quality striker in.

I also think we need 1 Good winger, and / or someone that can play wide and in behind the striker, as TP doesn't seem to rate sess much.

I think we will see:
Ideye gone, Vic stay, 1 big fairly fast striker and 1 winger in.

I've never had a feeling of any confidence when any of them have been playing - granted some excellent one off goals have been scored - but they don't link up enough to score enough goals to get us a top 10 finish next year.

Anyone disagree?
