Here's a nice quote I thought worthy of posting
West Brom head coach Tony Pulis's record is "amazing" and he guarantees a club their Premier League status, says Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
The Baggies have secured 23 points from 16 Premier League matches since Pulis took over took over in January.
The Welshman, 57, who has never been relegated as a manager, has also been in charge of Stoke City and Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
"If I own an English club, I sign Tony Pulis," Mourinho said.
"It's as simple as that - he's a guarantee to achieve what the club wants."

Can't believe we are going to be going ahead with this 'Guard of Honour' carp. Show of respect whatever, but I certainly haven't forgot the lack of respect Chelsea showed us back in November 2013. They're a pretty classless bunch who don't deserve any sort of ovation.

Unfortunately, it'd be a PR disaster for us not to give them a guard of honour, and you just know the media would have a field day. With talks of a takeover and a big summer ahead, we've got to keep our image good, even if it sticks in the craw a bit.
"I would rather spend a holiday in Tuscany than in the Black Country, but if I were compelled to choose between living in West Bromwich or Florence, I should make straight for West Bromwich." - J.B. Priestley

Bit of a "dead rubber" , this game - nothing much to play for for either team apart from professional pride, their manager & supporters, their wages and, for some, a new contract.
Crazy but probably true for many!

I hope that TP can get us going for this one cos IMO Chelsea will be much nearer the proverbial beach than us.

So p****d that I am going to miss the last home game of the season because of t.v..  I don't think these t.v. companies really give a sh@t about real fans or give any consideration to fans who have to travel for home games, so sadly I will have to miss it as the trains would not get me home.  I don't mind quite so much with a mid-season game, but the last game of the season   Angry Angry Angry Angry

Hangman clue: It refers to a certain media mogul.

The first team may be on the beach, but the kids won't be and no one has more to prove than them

Our midfield actually looks quite well balanced for once, Brown is only on the bench for Chelsea. Come on Albion, Berahino will score today.

Despite being a meeting of 'bus parkers' this could be a cracker. Hope we play more like the West Ham game - the potential's there

West Brom XI: Myhill; Dawson, McAuley, Olsson, Lescott; Brunt, Fletcher, Yacob, Morrison, McManaman; Berahino. Subs: Rose, Wisdom, Baird, Mulumbu, Gardner, Anichebe, Ideye.

Chelsea XI: Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry ©, Filipe Luis; Loftus-Cheek, Matic; Remy, Fabregas, Hazard; Diego Costa. Subs: Blackman, Christensen, Azpilicueta, Ake, Mikel, Cuadrado, Brown.
I can go a step higher than Aston Villa
