I should have added a whistle to my comment, SCO, it was one of those.

Half our team are off on their jollies tomorrow, so a replay makes little or even no sense to me. Huge points deduction this season or beginning next depending on which would do more damage, to deter this happening again. Massive fine, channeled to all Town fans who were there to compensate for ALL costs incurred. Even the pie and pint. Not interested in the three points just to go above Leeds. Couldn't give a toss. Any bets should unfortunately be nul and void and stake repaid. Leave it as "Played 45" and 'ave done with it.

A points deduction this season isn't going to make a spot of difference to where Blackpool finish - they can't get any lower than bottom - so if there is one it will have to be next season. They don't have to award a point though if they decide for whatever reason to allow the "result" to stand.

When I suggest points deduction this season, I was meaning more to create a precedent for others in future. But having thought about it some more, it might be more of a deterrent if it was huge points deduction this season..........AND NEXT!!! ![]()

What about playing it in August amongst the pre season friendlies? Tickets sold only to Town fans. And Blackpool FC have to pay for all our accommodation, with all the ticket money going to KIU.

The precedent was set by L666s when Master Bates put them into administration at half-time in their last match when they were already relegated. Hence the FL and/or FA now has a policy of applying points deductions in the season when it will matter. In Blackpool's case, any game after their first 3 this season would have meant a points deduction would have been futile, so if they get one it will be at the start of next season. Had they been only flirting with relegation then they could have applied it to this season if they wanted to take enough points off them to send them down.
PS - they could also apply an additional deduction at the start of next season in the case of this scenario. Snoots there will still be more sand on that pitch than the beach even at the start of the season. The Oyston's aren't going to invest in grass seed and equipment when they won't pay players more than 10 bob a week and a fish supper as a win bonus. Anyway we normally play pre-season friendlies against top notch sides like Emley and Harrogate, we don't need to come down to that level. I know some of our fans like to sing that everywhere is a sh*thole ( they need to go to Specsavers) but Blackpool these days truly is. I'd still think twice even if they were paying me to go.

The finishing above Leeds thing is irrelevant, it means nothing, who cares? Not me.
I was expecting to hear something today, bank holiday or not. To me, with not hearing anything today, it seems more than likely we are going to be awarded a 3-0 walkover result.
